Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Upland Manor!  Our organization's mission is to promote a quality Christian community in an atmosphere of Christ-like love and care for the whole person. For over 47 years, Upland Manor has served the seniors of this community with outstanding residential and supportive services.

 

How Do I Get Involved?

Some areas to volunteer are:

 

  • Meals on Wheels (Regular and Substitute Drivers)

  • Thrift E-commerce Seller

  • Events

  • Pastoral Program

  • Kitchen

  • Maintenance

  • Office

Volunteer Positions

Volunteer Waiver and Release:

I hereby agree to release Connect Senior Services and its Upland Meals on Wheels program from any and all liability relating to injuries that may occur during my volunteer activities. I acknowledge the risks involved in Meals on Wheels Connect activities, in which I am participating voluntarily. I also fully understand that Connect Senior Services does not assume responsibility for, or any obligation to provide, financial or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health or disability insurance, for any injury, illness, death or property damage sustained by me while participating in Connect Senior Services activities. I hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless Connect Senior Services and its successors, assigns, directors, officers, agents, members, and volunteers from any and all liability claims and demands of whatever kind of nature, either at law or in equity, which arise while I am performing my volunteer activities with Connect Senior Services.

We believe in the power of connection, joy, and faith to transform lives.  We provide opportunities for seniors to experience these through a thriving community that provides housing, events, dining and need based services.  We look to help eliminate food scarcity, social isolation, and to provide fair priced housing.
